Welcome to AccessPoint Care. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and our home care services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services Overview

AccessPoint Care provides non-medical home care services including personal care, companion care, in-home care, and attendant care services throughout Northwest Arkansas. Our services are designed to help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life at home.

Client Responsibilities

Clients and their representatives agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about care needs and medical history
  • Maintain a safe environment for caregivers to work in
  • Notify AccessPoint Care of any changes in care needs or schedules
  • Treat caregivers with respect and dignity
  • Provide timely payment for services rendered

Service Agreement

Prior to beginning care services, clients will receive a detailed Service Agreement that outlines:

  • Specific services to be provided
  • Schedule and hours of care
  • Rates and payment terms
  • Cancellation and modification policies
  • Emergency procedures

Caregiver Conduct

All AccessPoint Care caregivers are employees of our agency. Caregivers are:

  • Thoroughly screened with background checks
  • Trained and supervised by our care management team
  • Covered by our liability insurance and workers’ compensation
  • Bound by confidentiality agreements

Limitations of Service

AccessPoint Care provides non-medical home care services. Our caregivers do not perform medical procedures, administer medications (beyond reminders), or provide skilled nursing care. For medical needs, we can coordinate with appropriate healthcare providers.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. We request at least 24 hours notice for service cancellations when possible. Emergency situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Liability

AccessPoint Care maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing conditions or natural progression of health conditions
  • Client refusal to follow care recommendations
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our services, please contact us directly. We are committed to addressing issues promptly and professionally. Unresolved disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration in accordance with Arkansas law.
